Two sets of stories I produced for NOAA and the State of Hawai'i about climate services and climate adaptation.
fig. 1. my brain, as imagined as a coral colony
on a hypothetical scale from artsy (left) to nerdy (right)
I have a diversity of interests and skill sets ranging from doodling to data analysis. Throughout my educational and professional work, I have had the opportunity to use both the left and right sides of my brain - both my creative, artistic aesthetic and my technical, critical thinking in math and science - on various projects. A selection of these projects are displayed in the clickable figure above, mapped on the brain coral colony according to which 'side' of my brain was used. Some projects required a combination of right and left brain, such as the Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Report, and those projects are pinned to the center of the brain coral. Click on the rectangles above to read more about each project.
